Employee Welfare

We are proud that we foster a culture of engagement and empowerment to cultivate a positive work environment that makes employees feel appreciated and inspired. To maintain and enhance our dedication to ensure our team remains engaged, and their needs and concerns are properly addressed, we have organized recurring events throughout the year.

  • Executive management held monthly meetings with site employees to discuss their concerns and welfare, ensuring that employee voices are heard and addressed promptly.
  • Human capital leadership meeting with division leadership to discuss new updates, troubleshoot any grievances, resolutions and feedback.
  • Weekly wellbeing townhall meetings were held every Thursday on various topics to promote a healthy work-life balance and support employee wellbeing.
  • Home visits were organized for long-served retirees to maintain connections and reminisce about their contributions to the organization.
  • Maakoum People Connect: Team building activities to engage and connect with all staff.

Training and Development

The success of our operations is underpinned by the expertise and continuous growth of our workforce. We are committed to providing diverse learning and development opportunities to enhance the professional and technical capabilities of our employees, regardless of their roles or seniority.

Our own Drilling Training Centre (DTC) holds prestigious professional accreditations both nationally and internationally in the fields of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and drilling. These accreditations, which include IADC, IWCF, OPITO, LEEA, AHA, NQA, ANSI, SQA, Highfields, American Safety and Health Institute, and ACTVET, enable the Center to offer a comprehensive development path for individuals pursuing careers in drilling and safety.

In 2024, DTC delivered a total of 1,537 courses conducted for 22,253 attendees.

 

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are the cornerstones of our culture at ADNOC Drilling. We recognize that a diverse workforce fosters innovation, enhances decision-making, and reflects the global nature of our business. By embracing equitable practices and fostering an inclusive environment, we empower our people to reach their full potential while driving sustainable growth.

Our efforts are led by the Gender Diversity Steering Committee and Gender Balance Committee, which work collaboratively to elevate practices that ensure equality of access and opportunity across all sites and units. The Gender Diversity Steering Committee reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for monitoring progress toward gender diversity targets. This committee oversees the Gender Balance Committee, which develops and implements approved programs and initiatives to advance gender equity within the organization.

Nationalization: ADNOC Drilling remains committed to building a sustainable UAE national human capital reserve for the future through our dedicated Recruitment and Talent Development units.

 

Youth Engagement

We are committed to equipping today’s workforce with essential skills while fostering a diverse talent pool that powers the future of our company. Our younger colleagues stand as vital pillars in futureproofing our organization and driving our vision forward.

ADNOC Youth Committee, composed of 14 young members of our company, is responsible for driving the engagement and development of our young colleagues within the organization to build and maintain the future leaders of the company. With this responsibility, the Committee organizes and participates in a range of activities around the year with four streams and objectives: Elevate, Disrupt, Impact and amplify.
